                                                                                The Imaginary i

           Flat-chested. Big-breasted.

I’m old enough now not to care
if I’m flat-chested or big-breasted.
The key problem is judging how similar
two things are. World order—not my problem!
Slightly out of tune, which is not a problem,
it’s a fortunate condition. Yet a stratagem
is needed to reach the end satisfied
with snow or summer, dying old or younger,
the end of faith in which we mistake
acts of war for acts of saints,
not stopping the fight until the fight is done.
What percent of all time is that and is that
the essential question, is it even our business?
I am spent from being human, shitting and taking showers.
A blank, upainted space represents ‘spirit’.
